I love, love. love netGalley! They’re the main reason that I finally decided to get my nook, as I don’t like reading eBooks on my PC or laptop. However I do admit to self-control issues, as I have a tendency to start browsing and requesting, then suddenly wind up with a virtual shelf full of eARCs! Here are my latest finds:

Cinderella: Ninja Warrior by Maureen McGowen
Green-Eyed Demon by Jaye Wells
The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
Here Lies Bridget by Paige Harbison

Tempest’s Legacy by Nicole Peeler
Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton

I had to stop browsing, as I need to read and review these treasures before I request any more. Any suggestions on what I should keep an eye out for during my next netGalley visit?

  1. Oh I have some of those but I didn't see the Cinderella one so I am going to have to look for it..LOL. I love Netgalley too! I got Once in a Full Moon and so far its not been to bad. I loved The Lying Game also! Now I am going to have to go browse Netgalley again…LOL

  2. Looks like lots of great reads! How are you liking the Nook so far? One of my friends just got a Kindle, and she loves it. Enjoy your books 🙂

  3. Definitely understand what you mean. I myself prefer hard copies of books but NetGalley has got an awesome selection. SO hard to restrict yourself when on there. Happy reading!

  4. Danielle – I love the sound of those two as well! Love rewrites!

ladystorm – Once a Full Moon? I must have missed that one! *jots down title* 😉

Ryan – Thanks! They do sound intriguing, don't they? 🙂

Melissa – netGalley is what pushed me over the edge, as I was in the no-eReader camp for a long time. Stay strong Melissa! *L*

Sheila – netGalley is great! You just sign up, submit your requests, and then the publisher will either approve or decline them. I've only had one request declined so far. You transfer the book to your nook using Adobe Digital Editions, which is a simple drag and drop. Shoot me an email if you have any questions!

  5. Lizzy – I'm loving my nook! Resisted an eReader for a long time, but really wanted to have access to eARCs that weren't available in any other format. It's incredibly easy to use, and easy on my eyes as well. Very happy with it!

    Miss Remmers – Isn't it great? 🙂

Helen – I don't think that there's a deadline, as I don't remember seeing anything about timeframes. I assume they would want a timely review, so I'm just trying to fit them into my schedule and review the newest releases first. Have fun!

GMR – I don't think anything will replace my love of physical books, but netGalley is so hard to resist!
